As we move ahead in our journey, we need one critical support from all of you. It has been 1.5 years since we increased our prices. In these 18 months the raw material cost, salaries, rentals, vehicle cost and fuel cost have increased significantly. If we don’t increase our prices a bit to compensate for the increased costs, we will become financially unviable and will be forced out of business. Hence we request you to share a bit of that inflation.


We are not changing the current structure of Rs. 79, as a lot of our customers are very comfortable with the customization options. Instead, we are changing the Delivery Charges from Rs. 0 to Rs. 15. While this is an increase over our current price, we will still be a lot more economical than any other organized tiffin service provider in Mumbai.


The new pricing will be effective for all new orders placed from March 28th onwards. All existing orders and orders placed before March 28th will have the old pricing only even if they continue beyond March 28th.

We are also excited to share an interesting experiment where we are getting listed on Swiggy for customers who don’t want to book in advance and want to order only during the meal time. This will come at a slight premium to adjust for Swiggy’s commission & their delivery charge.


We are also looking to tie-up with delivery partners to serve areas outside our delivery network. We keep getting a lot of such queries but have not done it so far because there is no control over the delivery experience. And we don’t like that. And even when we do it now, we will limit our responsibility till handing over the tiffin box to the delivery partner. We are transparent about it to avoid any expectation mismatch and want our customers to make an informed decision.


Meanwhile, we will also continue to expand our own delivery network. (By the way, we are now delivering to Andheri East, Chandivali, Powai, Vikhroli West, Kanjurmarg West and parts of Ghatkopar West  )
